For  Scarecrow Competition and Festival  16th July - 31st  August.

1st Category 

Bournemouth Bicentenary Scarecrow to be brought to Holdenhurst Village Green on Saturday 17th July by 12midday to be judged by the Mayor of Bournemouth  at 2p.m.

2nd Category   Character from a Nursery Rhyme or Children's T.V. Show.

3rd Category   St. George and the Dragon

4th Category   Any Character from History

The lst Category people are welcome to leave their Scarecrows on the Village Green to form a tableau until the end of the Festival or to take them home again.

The second, third and fourth categories are aimed at the people in Muscliffe, Throop and Holdenhurst.  Heir Scarecrows will hopefully liven up the locality for the duration of July and August  and will be our contribution to the Bournemouth Bicentenary Celebrations.

Entry Fee  £3.00 per Scarecrow or Presentation.
