Over
thirty years have since passed since that golden era and contact has been lost
with many of those original Skidboarders, most of them being in their late
forties and early fifties by now.
At low water, the Boscombe shoreline still yields up the odd
peppering of pebbles but there are some areas that look as though a clean ride
could be made possible.
So, come
on you lot wherever you are, I still have my 33 year old Skidboard somewhere in
the garage - So let's grab our Zimmer Frames and 'Ride that Tide' one more
